Captain Joey Carter
Sergeant Ryan Strickland joined the Beulaville Police Department in July of 2000. He began his career in law enforcement as a Duplin county Sheriff’s Office Explorer at age 16.
After graduating North Duplin High School he went to James Sprunt Community College and obtained a two year associates degree in Criminal Justice. In 1995 he started working with the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office as a Jailor. In 1996 he was promoted to line deputy. In 1997 he started work with the Richland’s Police Department until coming to Beulaville. When Sgt Strickland is not working as law enforcement officer he enjoys training retrievers for hunt tests and waterfowl hunting. Sgt Strickland is an avid outdoorsman hunting deer, turkeys, geese, swans, and fishing.
Officer Robert Cannady
K-9 Officer Bob Spaulding is a native of New York State who retired from the USMC and
decided to remain in North Carolina. I have been with the Beulaville police
Department for over two years, as the departments K-9 officer.

Officer Jamie Rogers
Officer Mark Mobley joined the Beulaville Police department in August of 1999 were he works part time. Officer Mobley is radar, Dare, SRO certified. Officer Mobley serves full time with the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office as a line Sgt with the patrol division. Officer Mobley is married with one child. He enjoys ridding his 1998 soft tail custom Harley and hunting.
Officer Chris Thigpin Thigpen began his career in 1999 with the Mount Olive Police Department. In 2001 he started working with the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office as a dispatcher, and then in 2002 was selected to be a School Resource Officer until injured in an auto accident in 2003. He joined the Beulaville Police Department in April 2006.
Officer George Barr joined the Beulaville Police department in May 2006 as a part time officer. He started his career in law enforcement in 2000 with the Department of Corrections. In 2002 he started work with the Duplin County Sheriff’s Office as a jailor. In 2006 he started work with the Sampson County Sheriff’s Office as a Deputy.
Officer Barr is from a military family. He is a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is a certified Rader operator.
